Almost a normal week!

Steve is returning to normal and lab work shows the results.  He's platelet count was at 89 (thousand) during the time of diagnosis, down to 10 (thousand) during chemo and has returned since cell transplant to 189 (thousand).  Normal is 150 - 400 (thousand).  So, for the first time in 4 years, he is in the normal range! He is still tired but doing well. It takes longer for the red cell to come back.  We had an ordaniary Friday night, dinner, movie even popcorn and licroice!  I did make him wear his mask in the movie. We saw Julia and Julie and loved it.  We are food network foodies. Sat. we took Emma and Leigh Ann to The Cheesecake Factory for their birthdays. It was great having him along at girl lunch.  He's been catching up on work from home, one day doing 13.5 hours, I'd be tired, too.  We see Dr. Tricot on Tue. for the "where do we go from here "meeting.  We are very incouraged with the daily progress.  Food is tasting better and he continually looks for things he wants to try.  We are still careful, no raw vegetables, no fast food.
