Are things looking "UP"?

I've spent the last two days at the hospital with Dad. He's been able to get some work done. Between fever spells and Dr.s and nurses popping in and out. One of the pictures above is what the "hospital protocol" is for swabbing Dads nose to do a second test on him for the flu virus. We took the picture because it seems absolutely ridiculous to those of us watching on!
The other picture is of a pin I keep on my "Dad days" bag. It simply states the obvious and we're feeling it more and more as each day drags on and on. We keep hoping for all the answers to happen "tomorrow" but with the arrival of each new day, we seem only to be waiting for the next one. Needless to say, Dad is FRUSTRATED with the whole situation. We are at a point now were they have tested and retested him for all of the obvious signs of fever causing infection so as of tomorrow they will finally ask Dr. Tricot what he advises as a course of action since nothing else seems to be doing the job. It seems like the final 'throwing the arms in the air' type of move on the Dr.s part. I guess finding nothing is both the good news and the bad rolled into one. We did have a mostly fever free day earlier today and Dad and I enjoyed lunch in his room and watched the movie 'UP'. He seemed to forget were he was for about an hour and a half until having to come back down when the movie ended. We love you Mom & Dad and want all of this to just stop so we can start enjoying the benefits of Dads second engraftment.

Boy, it makes it look like I'm technologically-challenged! Heard you're blogging again. Sorry things aren't going well right now! We're thinking of you and keeping you in our prayers.
